Another trip to the local comic book store netted me the following:
Demo #8
The Collected Hutch Owen Vol. 1 (Top Shelf, by Tom Hart)
Jetcat Clubhouse #1 (Oni, April 2001)
The Pants Ant Trouser Hour (Slave Labor Graphics, July 2001)
The latter two were in the $1 bins that were new to the store since my last visit; this is a development that thoroughly excites me. I cannot describe it at present.
I'm also delighted to grab something by Tom Hart -- I've read a couple issues of The Sands that I've found egregiously placed in discount bins and quickly grabbed them up.
And Demo, well, what more can I say about this series that hasn't already been mentioned in the comic blogosphere, except for the fact that it's the only series that I currently buy on a monthly basis (thank you Brian and Becky).
Of course, add in the comics from yesterday's trip and the ones (including a few graphic novels and TPBs) in my still to-read pile, and I think I've hit my comics cravings for ... a week, probably.
